Grounding is an important part of the electrical circuit. In order for the current to flow unhindered from the earth back to the device, there must be as good a contact as possible between the earth rod and the earth (dry earth hardly conducts electricity). When driving in the first rod, locations that are as moist as possible should be chosen, or the length of the first rod must be dimensioned so that deeper, moist layers of earth can be reached. The number of recommended earth rods depends on the performance class of the device.

Always drive the ground stakes into moist soil.

Maintain a distance of 3 m between each ground rod.

Use galvanized ground rods - rust has an insulating effect and hinders the return of voltage to the device.
