Litter and manure disposal are cost factors that should not be underestimated. That's why we offer you a product that uses natural processes to help reduce the consumption of litter and thus make the manure pile smaller. In addition, the resulting horse manure can be disposed of more easily and cost-effectively.

After drying, sieving and dust removal, the classic Allspan German Horse wood shavings are enriched with natural microorganisms in a special manufacturing process.

The microorganisms only become active when moisture comes into contact with the wood shavings. They feed on the nitrogen-containing compounds in feces and urine. This means that harmful ammonia gas can no longer be formed. The nitrogen is converted into harmless, organic binding forms. The microorganisms multiply quickly and suppress potential pathogens. Wood-decomposing organisms in turn use the newly formed nitrogen compounds as a food source. This creates the desired bioactive substrate. The wood is broken down gently and hygiene is maintained.

The product Allspan German Horse Bioaktiv is a fine wood shavings made from untreated softwood. You will receive a 100% natural bedding product.

Our chip impresses with maximum moisture absorption and odor retention, which guarantees a hygienic horse box in which the horses stand softly and warmly.

Litter recommendation
To speed up the formation of the mattress, it is advisable to moisten the chips and then attach something. Horse manure should be removed thoroughly without loosening the mattress. In this way, a functional, bioactive mattress that has a heat-insulating effect is formed in the first few weeks.
